Mitomel Printmaking was founded in Adelaide, South Australia in 2000 by husband and wife Emmanuel and Rhonda Diakomichalis. They sought to establish a boutique printmaking equipment practice specialising in the manufacture and sale of custom made, superior quality printmaking equipment, including etching presses, lithography presses, inking rollers and other accessories.
Design excellence, precision engineering and high performance define the benchmark set by Mitomel etching and lithography presses and printmaking equipment. Our presses are custom designed and assembled to exacting tolerances and to suit individual needs. Our presses are built using only superior quality, heavy duty materials and components.
The static and dynamic load pressure ratings of Mitomel's sealed bearings are far in excess of those required for even the most demanding print jobs. Mitomel inking rollers are custom-made to various lengths and roll-up distances, to suit all requirements (length 250-500mm, diameter 100/150/200mm). Our rollers are clothed with premium synthetic rubber, in a duro range of 20-50. Once assembled, inspected and tested, the entire range of Mitomel printmaking equipment can be crated and dispatched safely to all parts of the world.
